FACULTY EVALUATION

The University of Southern California requires that students evaluate the teaching by the faculty. In Years 1 and 2 of the School of Medicine Curriculum, students are asked to evaluate the teaching in each unit/organ system.Via the “MEDWEB”, students are asked to provide a numerical rating for the lectures and laboratory/small group sessions given by each faculty member during each unit, plus additional written comments. Also invited are general written comments about various aspects of the course. At the end of each ratings and comments are collated and distributed to the individual teaching faculty and to the appropriate faculty administratively responsible for the teaching.
