The Educational Leadership Fellowship is offered to academic physicians who are engaged in teaching. The two primary goals of this fellowship are to prepare participants for understanding and serving effectively in positions of leadership and to enhance their personal and professional effectiveness.

Our community of learners format ensures on intimate and challenging learning environment. Learning teams are created and maintained throughout the seminar. These small groups are facilitated by past fellows and contribute significantly to learning outcome goals.

We start with the assumption that teaching and leading are connected in terms of core skills and competence. The fellowship allows a rich experience for personal discovery. The program provides fellows with the skills to not only self reflect, but also to better understand the cultural context of their institutions. As a result of participating in this program, you will become more effective teachers, administrators, and cliniciansand also gain effectiveness in your personal life.

Fellows will attend 4 seminars on Friday(12 noon to 6 pm), Sunday(8 am to 5 pm) and Sunday(8 am to 12 noon) and the Innovations in Medical Education Conference in 2007.Programs will explore:
