The Innovations in Medical Education Conference is an excellent opportunity to join a community of educators interested in promoting innovation and change in health professions education.

The Division of Medical Education (DME) at the University of Southern California is building a growing community of educators, scholars and leaders wanting to gain new skills, share new ideas, and present ongoing and completed research.

Conference Goals:

  • Provide a forum for sharing ideas for educational innovations and discoveries.
  • Provide a forum for leadership issues and approaches in medical education,
  • Build or enhance skills in specific areas of teaching, educational leadership and personal effectiveness, and,
  • Build a network of a health professionals interested in educational reform in medical education.

Accreditation:

The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians

The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California designates this coninuing medical education activity for an maximum of 16 hours in Category I credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

The California State Board of Registered Nursing accepts courses approved for Category I credit as meeting the continuing education requirements for license renewal.
