NEW APPROACHES IN MEDICAL EDUCATION May 9 - 11, 2002 Los Angeles, CA Keynote Speaker: Deborah Simpson, Ph. D., Director, Office of Educational Research, Medical college of Wisconsin. Open to all medical educators. The conference provides a forum for sharing ideas for educational innovations and discoveries about educational leadership. Participants will engage in dialogue on health professions education through plenary sessions, oral presentations, poster sessions, case studies of critical incidents and book reviews. Accreditation: The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California designates this coninuing medical education activity for an maximum of 16 hours in Category I credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The California State Board of Registered Nursing accepts courses approved for Category I credit as meeting the continuing education requirements for license renewal. |
